Mission

We seek to create a learning environment that enhances the holistic development of the child through the provision of authentic and meaningful learning experiences in the areas of sports and outdoor education.

Philosophy

We believe that:

  • There is potential in every child and each child is unique and gifted in his/her own way;
  • The development of a child should be holistic in nature; and
  • Every child should be given the opportunity in school to undergo authentic and meaningful learning experiences that are carefully planned to enhance the development of his/her cognitive, affective and physical faculties.

SPORTS & GAMES

Badminton

Students will:

  • learn skills and techniques related to the sport;
  • learn to play the sport at various levels progressively to nurture their talent and develop their interest and passion for it;
  • participate in different levels of competition to gain experience and exposure.

Students will:

  • learn and practice different movements and formations in Wushu; 
  • appreciate Wushu as a traditional martial art form;

Infocomm & Robotics Club

Students will:

  • be equipped with skills in various digital media and infocomm technology;
  • learn the design, construction, operation, and application of simple robots;
  • participate in competitions to gain experience and exposure.

Science Club

Students will:

  • learn more about Science outside the syllabus and learn how to apply their knowledge of science in their daily life through the activities;
  • learn more about life science through basic gardening like weeding, watering, pruning to ensure that the plants grow healthily;
  • develop a deeper appreciation of nature and foster a greater social interaction and bonding among the students in the CCA.

Creative Design Club

Students will:

  • develop their appreciation for Art and artistic skills through authentic experiences provided through exposure to Art history and techniques;
  • be given different avenues to showcase their artistic talent and be enrolled in competitions.

PERFORMING ARTS

Guitar Ensemble

Students will:

  • develop an understanding and appreciation of the guitar as an instrument;
  • develop their skills in guitar playing;
  • participate in different levels of competition to gain experience and exposure.

International Dance

Students will:

  • learn to appreciate different forms of dance to nurture their talent and develop their interest and passion for dance;
  • be given different avenues to showcase their dances and be enrolled in competitions.

Choir

Students will:

  • develop their appreciation for the Arts and maximize their potential in performing Arts through singing a variety of songs chorally in harmony;
  • be given different avenues to showcase their singing talent and be enrolled in competitions.

UNIFORMED GROUPS

Scouts

Students will:

  • learn to work in environments that are intellectually and physically challenging; 
  • work in teams to overcome challenges and solve problems; 
  • be engaged in activities that are fun and encourage self-discovery.

Red Cross

Students will:

  • learn first-aid skills and knowledge;
  • develop a sense of social responsibility;
  • network with Red Cross members from other schools.
