Overview

Programme for Active Learning
PAL is a MOE initiative and its purpose is to engage P1 and P2 students in non-academic programmes to nurture the whole child and equip them with the necessary skills and values to thrive in the future.

PAL consists of modules of activities in 2 broad areas: Sports and Outdoor Education, and Performing Arts (Music and Dance) and Visual Arts.  Broadly, PAL aims to:
•     Provide students with broad exposure and experiences through fun and varied activities;
•     Facilitate the well-rounded development of students in the five broad learning domains of physical, cognitive, social, aesthetics and moral; and
•     Provide varied avenues for students to develop social emotional competencies.

P1 and P2 students will undergo 3 modules of PAL each year within the curriculum time on Mondays and Wednesdays.  There are 8 lessons for each module.
